We’ve been working on sourcing for years. We’ve spoken to quite literally hundreds of brands from growing startups to multi billion pound companies.
The one pain that sourcing teams kept telling us was: contacting and reaching out to suppliers is a nightmare. They don’t respond, you can’t find contact information, they don’t have an English speaking receptionist so can’t get through to sales departments. Before this was impossible to solve without doing it manually. Now with new technology supplier outreach can be somewhat automated to the point where you get a positive response.
This automated outreach process is used heavily in B2B sales and prospecting. So we thought, why can’t we use this for supplier outreach?!
